Elsie Jean Sykes, 92, of North Little Rock, AR, fondly known as “Madea” passed on June 18, 2026. She was born on August 9, 1933.
Her heavenly reunion includes her cherished parents, siblings, and beloved daughter, Terri Dickerson.
She leaves behind her loving children: sons, John Sykes of North Little Rock, AR, Mark (Denise) Dickerson of Prairie Village, Kansas, and daughter Tami Dickerson of North Little Rock, AR. Her legacy continues through her three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Madea’s spirit lives on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her. Her life was a blessing, and her memory will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration.
A Walk-Thru Visitation will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026 from 1-4 p.m. at Ruffin and Jarrett Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at King Solomon Baptist Church, 1304 Pine St, North Little Rock, AR, 72114.
