It is deep sadness that we announce the passing of Glenn Burns, Sr., who departed this life on June 26, 2026, at the age of 67. Born on November 1, 1958, in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Glenn lived a life grounded in faith, hard work, and unconditional love for his family. He was known for his generous spirit, always willing to lend a helping hand and put the needs of others before his own.
As the owner of his own landscaping business, Glenn took great pride in this work and earned the respect of many through his dedication and strong work ethics.
He also enjoyed technology and had a passion for music, which brought him great joy throughout his life. Above all, Glenn was a devoted father and grandfather.
His children and grandfather were the center of his world, and he cherished every opportunity to love, support, and encourage them.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children: Tanesha Burns (Alexander), Glenn Burns, Jr., Timothy Burns, Sterling Burns, and Shaun Burns; his grandchildren; Cameron Roy, Szionna Burns, Talitha Burns, Alexander Speed, Jr., and Destini Brown; along with many other loving relatives and dear friends.
Though Glenn is no longer with us, his legacy of faith, kindness, strength, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Funeral Services celebrating Glenn’s life will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Ruffin and Jarrett Funeral Home.
A Viewing will be held from 12-1 p.m. Family and Friends are warmly invited to attend as we celebrate a life well lived.
